Millennium Bandstand (Corner of Main Street & Fred Varley Drive)

Music lovers can once again look forward to one of Unionville’s most anticipated summer traditions as Thursday Nights at the Bandstand returns for the 2026 season. Presented by Unionville Presents and supported by the Unionville Business Improvement Area (UBIA), the popular free outdoor concert series will bring six weeks of live entertainment to the heart of the historic village.

Running on consecutive Thursday evenings from July 2 through August 6, 2026, the series transforms the Millennium Bandstand into a lively gathering place where residents and visitors can enjoy great music, community spirit, and warm summer evenings.

Six Weeks of Free Live Entertainment

Each concert will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Millennium Bandstand, located at the corner of Main Street Unionville and Fred Varley Drive. Admission is completely free, making it an accessible and family-friendly way to spend an evening outdoors.

Organisers have announced that this year’s programme will feature six tribute bands, each bringing the music of beloved artists and iconic groups to life. While the full lineup is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks, audiences can anticipate energetic performances designed to get people singing along, dancing, and celebrating the soundtrack of summer.

The tribute band format has long been a favourite among concertgoers, offering the opportunity to experience familiar hits performed by talented musicians who capture the spirit and sound of legendary performers.

Community Spirit Takes Centre Stage

The return of Thursday Nights at the Bandstand represents more than just a music series. It reflects the collaborative efforts of local organisers, businesses, volunteers, and community supporters who have worked together to bring the event back for another successful season.

For many residents, the concerts have become a cherished summer ritual. Friends gather with lawn chairs, families stroll along Main Street before the show, and visitors discover the charm of Unionville’s historic district while enjoying live entertainment in a welcoming outdoor setting.

The atmosphere is relaxed, inclusive, and distinctly local, helping strengthen connections within the community while supporting nearby shops, cafés, and restaurants.
