Toronto Annual Taste of Little Italy – A Celebration of Food, Culture, and Community

Toronto Taste of Italy

June 13 – 15,  2025
College Street West, between Shaw Street and Bathurst Street

Each June, College Street in Toronto’s vibrant west end comes alive with the Annual Taste of Little Italy, one of the city’s most beloved summer street festivals. Stretching from Bathurst Street to Shaw Street, this multi-day event transforms the historic neighbourhood into a lively celebration of Italian culture, cuisine, music, and family-friendly fun.

With deep roots in Toronto’s Italian-Canadian community, the festival showcases the area’s culinary gems—both classic and contemporary. Visitors can enjoy wood-fired pizza, handmade pasta, arancini, fresh cannoli, espresso, gelato, and more from local restaurants and street vendors. Dozens of patios spill out onto the sidewalk, and food trucks offer creative twists on traditional Italian flavours.

But Taste of Little Italy is more than just a foodie event. It’s a full cultural experience. The streets are filled with live music, dance performances, roaming entertainers, and carnival rides. Local and international musicians perform everything from Italian folk tunes to modern pop and jazz on multiple stages. Artists and artisans also showcase their work, adding to the festive atmosphere.

This festival draws hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, making it one of Toronto’s top summer attractions. Whether you’re looking for a romantic night out, a lively group gathering, or a family weekend adventure, there’s something for everyone. Children can enjoy games and amusements, while adults explore boutique shopping, licensed patios, and late-night festivities.
