Twilight Symphony at Casa Loma: Candlelit Concerts in Toronto’s Iconic Castle
January 30 – March 7, 2026 (Fridays and Saturdays)
Casa Loma, Toronto
Few venues in Toronto rival the romance and grandeur of Casa Loma, and this winter it once again becomes the stage for one of the city’s most atmospheric live music experiences. Twilight Symphony at the Castle returns with a series of intimate candlelit concerts that invite guests to experience orchestral music in a strikingly immersive setting.
The evening begins with a journey through Casa Loma’s iconic 800-foot tunnel beneath Austin Terrace, building anticipation before guests arrive in the Carriage Room. Bathed in the glow of hundreds of candles, the historic space sets the tone for a refined and unforgettable night.
World-Class Music in a Historic Setting
At the centre of Twilight Symphony is the Casa Loma Symphony Orchestra, under the artistic direction and baton of Maestro Paolo Busato. Known for his dynamic leadership and genre-spanning approach, Busato brings together classical precision and modern energy, creating performances that resonate with seasoned music lovers and first-time concertgoers alike.
Each programme is designed to complement the castle’s acoustics while highlighting the orchestra’s versatility and emotional range.
Two Distinct Concert Series
This season features two themed concert experiences. Fridays between January 30, 2026 and March 7, 2026 showcase Rock Symphony, a powerful fusion of orchestral sound and iconic rock music, featuring vocalists Cleopatra Williams and Justin Di Donato.
Saturdays between January 30, 2026 and March 7, 2026, are dedicated to Broadway to Opera, an elegant musical journey from celebrated stage productions to operatic classics, performed by soprano Sara Papini and tenor Joey Niceforo.
A Signature Welcome and Evening Details
New this season, every guest is greeted with a Twilight Symphony signature shot, created by Jacob Martin, World Class Global Winner 2023, adding a sophisticated culinary element to the experience. Doors open at 6:30 pm, with performances beginning at 7:30 pm.
