Jazz Fridays return to Old Mill Toronto this March with three evenings of exceptional live performance in a distinctive heritage setting. The series brings acclaimed artists to an intimate stage, pairing refined musicianship with the warmth and character of one of Toronto’s most storied venues.

Established in 1914 as a tea garden offering the community a welcoming place to gather during the First World War, Old Mill Toronto has evolved into a landmark destination. Today, it features a 200-seat fine dining restaurant, a charming tea garden, an elegant wedding chapel and 16 function rooms spanning over 20,000 square feet. Its main dining room transforms seamlessly into a cosy, club-style space, enhanced by a state-of-the-art sound system that fully immerses guests in the live music experience.

Soul Jazz Night: Lou Pomanti featuring Robyn Black

Old Mill Toronto welcomes the Lou Pomanti Quartet with vocalist Robyn Black for an evening of polished soul-jazz. Known for collaborations with leading recording artists, Pomanti guides a dynamic ensemble blending expressive piano, rich vocals and tight rhythms. The programme flows from swinging grooves to smooth ballads, delivering an elegant and intimate live music experience within one of Toronto’s most historic venues.

Nationally recognised for excellence in traditional jazz, the group delivers an energetic, toe-tapping performance that honours the timeless style of gypsy swing in an intimate and atmospheric setting.
