Canada Day Celebrations Bring Three Days of Family Fun to Battle of Beaverdams Park

Residents and visitors alike are invited to celebrate Canada Day with three days of entertainment, music and family-friendly fun at Battle of Beaverdams Park. From June 29 to July 1, 2026, the park will transform into a lively gathering place packed with live performances, activities for children, food vendors and a spectacular fireworks finale.
This year’s expanded celebration introduces a brand-new outdoor movie night, adding even more excitement to one of Niagara’s favourite summer traditions.
Family Movie Night Opens the Festivities
The celebrations begin on Monday, June 29, 2026, with Family Movie Night from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for an evening under the stars. A feature film will be screened at dusk, while complimentary popcorn and entertainment help create a relaxed community atmosphere.
One of the evening’s highlights will be magician Scoop McCoy, performed by Anthony Lindan. Known throughout Southern Ontario for his engaging family entertainment, Lindan brings more than 25 years of professional experience to the stage. His interactive magic show, running from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., is expected to delight children and adults alike.
Alongside the entertainment, guests can enjoy food vendors, artisan booths, children’s attractions and an extended licensed patio throughout the park grounds.
Rock and Blues Take Centre Stage
On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, the popular Rock ’N Blues on the Battlefield returns with an evening dedicated to live music. Running from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., the event showcases talented performers and a festive outdoor concert atmosphere.
The headline act, Jonesy, takes the stage from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Widely regarded as one of Southern Ontario’s leading pop-rock bands, the Niagara-based group has spent more than 20 years entertaining audiences with energetic performances and crowd-pleasing hits. Their set list spans multiple decades and genres, featuring music from artists including Fleetwood Mac, U2, Harry Styles and Morgan Wallen.
Guests can also enjoy the park’s Kids Zone, face painting, foam parties, magicians, bouncy castles and roaming characters throughout the evening.
Canada Day Celebrations Culminate on July 1
Canada Day festivities on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, will bring a full afternoon and evening of entertainment from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Live music on the main stage will feature a lineup of high-energy acts beginning with Orangeman from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Known for their dynamic stage presence, the band performs classic dance and party hits from the 1970s through the 2000s.
From 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., audiences can experience Simply Queen, a tribute performance celebrating the legendary music of Queen. The group recreates the excitement and theatrical energy of Queen’s iconic live shows with faithful renditions of beloved classics.
Closing out the evening is Figure Four from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Founded by Thorold musicians Burny and Mic more than 25 years ago, the band is known for its extensive repertoire and crowd-focused performances at community events across Niagara.
The celebrations conclude with a spectacular fireworks display beginning at 10 p.m., lighting up the skies above Battle of Beaverdams Park and ending the three-day festival on a memorable note.
