Angry Birds Take To The Skies Over Lake Ontario: Canadian International Air Show is ready to dazzle CNE crowds

It’s going to be a high flying weekend as this year’s 64th International Air Show takes to the skies over the CNE and along the shores of Lake Ontario. With lots of high flying machines, these noisy angry birds will thrill the audiences weather permitting.

Highlights this year are the Jet Air-to-Air Combat with two ultimate fighters, the The Red Star and The Dragon aka pilot Jerry Conley vs. Andy Anderson.

The Trojan Horsemen Flight Demonstration Team will make its debut performance with a “Salute to The Armed Forces” including a formation aerobatic demonstration routine choreographed to patriotic music. It is the only 6 ship T-28 Warbird Formation & Aerobatic Demo Team in the world.

Also taking centre stage is the L-39 and Sea Harrier as well as the CF-18 Hornet.Back for his 7th consecutive year with the CIAS is Mike Wiskus in the Lucas Oil Pitts! His breathtaking performance will include lots of smoke, noise and hardcore aerobatics.

Last but not least, the finale to each day will be our nation’s pride and joy, premier aerobatic demonstration team – the CANADIAN FORCES SNOWBIRDS.
