2nd Annual ACM Party for a Cause at the LINQ in LAS VEGAS

It was a party to be remembered and the weekend that Las Vegas was taken over by thousands of loyal country music fans from across the country. From the Linq and the Freemont Street Experience to the stage at the MGM Grand, country music was in the air. Presented by ACM Lifting Lives the star studded lineup included Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban plus Kellie Pickler, Lee Brice, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, Justin Moore, Vince Neil, Jewel and more.

On Friday, April 4th, the 2nd Annual ACM Party for a Cause Festival, hosted by Outnumber Hunger, kicked off at The LINQ featuring headliner Rascal Flatts. This event was part of The Week Vegas Goes Country® leading up to the 49th Academy of Country Music Awards held on the following Sunday night. The “Outnumber Hunger Live!” concert  featured country hit-makers Florida Georgia Line, Justin Moore, Thomas Rhett, Cassadee Pope, Danielle Bradbery, and The Cadillac Three. Plus Will Hoge, Chase Rice and Charlie Worsham who performed on the Party Stage. The surprise guest of the evening was legendary rock musician Vince Neil who performed with Justin Moore on the Motley Crue hit “Home Sweet Home.”

Friday’s “Outnumber Hunger Live!” concert series benefited Outnumber Hunger, an initiative from General Mills, Big Machine Label Group and Feeding America that helps fight hunger in local communities. To date, Outnumber Hunger has helped secure more than 25 million meals for Feeding America’s network of local food banks.

The ACM Party for a Cause Festival continued on Saturday, April 5 with headliner Keith Urban.

The 2nd Annual ACM Party for a Cause Festival ended with a bang when headliner Keith Urban performed in front of a packed audience at The LINQ in Las Vegas. The second night of the festival was presented by ACM Lifting Lives® benefiting several military philanthropies including Folds of Honor Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, Navy SEAL Foundation, Team Rubicon, and Nellis AFB Force Support Squadron. The festival also featured performances by Lee Brice, Brett Eldredge, Tyler Farr, Kip Moore, Joe Nichols, Jerrod Niemann, Chris Young, Love and Theft, and Parmalee.

Plus Joel Crouse, Jon Pardi, Leah Turner, Austin Webb, Dan + Shay, and Max Impact, the premier rock band of the United States Air Force, performed on the Party Stage. Singer/songwriter Jewel and Food Network personality Guy Fieri were also in attendance.

Following Keith Urban’s performance, the party continued with ACM After Hours with Jerrod Niemann & Friends on the Party Stage featuring performances by Tyler Farr, Jerrod Niemann, American Young, Natalie Stovall and The Drive, The Swon Brothers, and surprise performance by Kellie Pickler.

In addition the ACM & Cabela’s Great Outdoor Archery Event kicked off Saturday’s 2nd Annual ACM Party for a Cause Festival. Luke Bryan and Justin Moore hosted the event at The LINQ, bringing together country music artists and fans in an archery exhibition featuring 3D and traditional targets. Lee Brice, Dallas Davidson, Tyler Farr, Brantley Gilbert, Chris Janson, Dustin Lynch, Thomas Rhett, Ashton Shepherd, Chase Rice, Josh Thompson, Austin Webb, Chuck Wicks and Florida Georgia Line all arrived on the camouflage carpet and then tested their skills and archery knowledge.

Team Justin took home top honors, beating Team Luke by a score of 280-226. Other highlights included Chuck Wicks blaming team captain Luke Bryan for his faulty bow and Justin Moore joking that his worst round of shots against Bryan was because “he’s obviously terrified of heights.”
