Having welcomed more than six million attendees worldwide, the original Immersive Van Gogh exhibition is one of Canada’s most successful cultural exports. It debuted in Toronto in 2020, during the pandemic, and quickly became a phenomenon—offering a unique drive-through option and selling out daily from morning to afternoon. Critics hailed it as “dazzling” (Lonely Planet) and “a must-see” (Architectural Digest). Now, the story continues with a bold reimagining that delves deeper into Van Gogh’s life and lesser-known works.
Inside the Artist’s Mind and Heart
Set against the backdrop of Van Gogh’s life—his days in Paris, his creative yet strained friendship with Paul Gauguin, and his reflective time in Saint-Rémy—this immersive production captures the artist’s passion for nature, his mental health journey, and his enduring impact. “As we retire the original, this new chapter honours Van Gogh’s legacy by exploring fresh perspectives,” says Corey Ross, CEO of Lighthouse Immersive.
Creative Forces Behind the Vision
The Next Chapter is curated by Marco Generoso Realino, founder of Italy’s Visioni Srl, with music by Marco Schiavoni. Realino brings a background in choreography and a European flair for multisensory art, while Schiavoni adds emotional depth with an original score. Produced by Lighthouse Immersive, this exhibit continues its mission to revolutionise art presentation through storytelling and technology.
