The 2024 Mississauga Music Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony is set to celebrate two exceptional talents who have made significant contributions to the world of music: internationally acclaimed classical violinist Adrian Anantawan and multi-platinum selling guitarist and songwriter for Platinum Blonde, Sergio Galli. This prestigious event, taking place at Port Credit Memorial Park, will honour these two musical icons for their outstanding achievements and their deep connection to the Mississauga community.

Adrian Anantawan, a virtuoso violinist known for his extraordinary talent and inspiring story, has captivated audiences worldwide with his performances. Born without a right hand, Anantawan has overcome tremendous challenges to become one of the most respected classical musicians of his generation. His artistry and perseverance have not only brought him international acclaim but have also made him a powerful advocate for accessibility in the arts. Anantawan’s inclusion in the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame recognizes not only his musical accomplishments but also his dedication to using his platform to inspire others and promote inclusivity in the arts.

Joining Anantawan in this year’s induction is Sergio Galli, the multi-platinum-selling guitarist and songwriter for the iconic Canadian rock band Platinum Blonde. Galli, a driving force behind the band’s success, played a pivotal role in crafting the sound that propelled Platinum Blonde to stardom in the 1980s. With hits like “Cryin’ Over You” and “Not in Love,” Galli’s contributions have left an indelible mark on the Canadian music landscape. His work with Platinum Blonde has earned him a place among the country’s rock legends, and his induction into the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame acknowledges his influence on the music industry and his lasting impact on generations of fans.

The Mississauga Music Walk of Fame is located in Port Credit Memorial Park in Mississauga Ontario.
