Directed by Kelly Showker, Slut or Nut: The Diary of a Rape Trial is a feature-length documentary film following Toronto activist Mandi Gray as she navigates the Canadian legal system after she is sexually assaulted. The film will be followed by a panel discussion about sexual assault law in Canada and the need for independent legal advice for those reporting sexual assault and testifying in a sexual assault trial. Panelists will include Mandi Gray, Deepa Mattoo, and Kara Peet. Suggested donation is $10.00. All proceeds from this event will support the Barbra Schlifer Clinic.
