From June 11, 2026 to July 19, 2026, football supporters from across the region will gather at Celebration Square for an unforgettable summer of international sport as the FIFA World Cup 2026™ takes centre stage. The outdoor screening experience, Watch the World Play, invites fans to enjoy live tournament action in a lively community atmosphere filled with excitement, national pride, and shared celebration.

As one of the world’s most anticipated sporting events, the FIFA World Cup™ brings together countries, cultures, and supporters through the universal passion of football. Celebration Square will transform into a dynamic fan destination where residents and visitors can experience the drama, intensity, and joy of every match on large outdoor screens in the heart of the city.

Throughout the tournament, football fans will have the opportunity to watch many of the world’s top national teams compete for international glory. From dramatic group-stage clashes to knockout-round tension and the championship final, the screenings promise a thrilling atmosphere for supporters of every nation.
