THE DOOR TO DARKNESS

As the gateway to the exhibition, the “bedroom” prepares you for adventure by introducing many concepts: the biological clock, the various sleep phases, and night vision. Your eyes adapt to darkness and you’ll enter the world of nocturnal life.

THE NIGHT MAZE

Through a twisting dark path, you’ll discover nocturnal animals from around the world. Beware of creepy creatures! You’ll come face-to-face with small rodents, insects, spiders, bats, and a scorpion too! You’ll encounter the unexpected too, such as aardvarks, bilbies, African jerboas, fennec foxes, and caracals. Learn about the adaptations made by living beings to survive in the worlds of the night. Travel to polar realms with their awe-inspiring northern lights, take a trip to the bottom of a grotto, and discover the phenomenon of bioluminescence.
