Get Creative at AGO Summer Camps 2026

June 29 – September 4, 2026
Art Gallery of Ontario

At AGO Summer Camps, creativity takes centre stage through hands-on projects designed to inspire young artists. Led by experienced Artist Instructors, these camps offer one- and two-week sessions shaped by current exhibitions, the gallery’s collection, and contemporary art practices.

Programmes for children aged 5 to 13 are built around engaging themes or specific artistic mediums. Campers can explore mixed media options such as Art Rebels, Wild Things, Build It, Miniature Worlds, and Art and Play, where they experiment with drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, and printmaking. For those looking to focus their skills, specialised camps in areas like cartooning, animation, and painting provide a deeper dive into particular techniques.

Teens aged 14 to 15 can take part in the two-week Leaders in Training (LIT) programme, which blends creative development with leadership and real-world skill building in a supportive environment. All camps include time in the galleries, connecting artmaking with real exhibitions.
