Join the vibrant community of East York on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, for the 69th annual East York Canada Day Festival, a cherished tradition and the longest-running event of its kind in Toronto. This free, family-friendly celebration offers a full day of festivities, showcasing the spirit and diversity of the community.

Parade and Opening Ceremonies

The day’s festivities commence at 10:30 a.m. with the beloved Canada Day Parade. Starting at Dieppe Park, the parade winds its way along Cosburn Avenue, culminating at Stan Wadlow Park. Expect a lively procession featuring floats, marching bands, antique cars, community groups, entertainers, and local businesses, all coming together to celebrate Canada’s birthday.

Festival Highlights at Stan Wadlow Park

From 11:00 a.m. onwards, Stan Wadlow Park transforms into a hub of activity with a variety of attractions:

  • Main Stage Entertainment: Enjoy live performances from local artists and bands throughout the day, offering a diverse mix of music and entertainment.
  • Midway and Kids’ Activities: Thrilling rides, games, and an expanded area dedicated to children’s activities ensure fun for the younger attendees.
  • Artisan Market and Food Vendors: Browse through a selection of handcrafted goods and savor a variety of culinary delights from numerous food stalls.
  • Beer Garden: Adults can relax and enjoy locally brewed beverages in the beer garden hosted by Goldenfield Brewery.
  • Bingo: Back by popular demand, bingo sessions will be held in the Stan Wadlow Clubhouse from noon to 3:00 p.m.
  • Water Activities: Cool off in the Kiwanis Pool or at the splash pad, both open for public use during the festival.

Fireworks Finale
