Carabram Is Brampton’s Annual Multicultural Festival

Carabram 2026: Celebrating Culture and Community in Brampton

July 10 – 12, 2026
Venues across Brampton

Every summer, the city of Brampton comes alive with the colours, sounds, and flavours of cultures from around the globe during Carabram, the city’s annual multicultural festival. From July 10 – 12, 2026, venues across the city will host vibrant cultural pavilions where visitors can experience traditions, performances, and cuisine representing communities from many parts of the world.

Organised by Carabram Multicultural Festival, the long-running event invites residents and visitors alike to celebrate the diversity that defines Brampton. Each pavilion is designed to showcase the heritage of a particular culture, creating a welcoming environment where people can explore different traditions in a fun and interactive setting.

Over the course of the three-day festival, the city transforms into a cultural showcase where neighbours and guests can truly “experience the world” without leaving Brampton.

Explore Cultural Pavilions Across the City

One of the unique aspects of Carabram is its pavilion-style format. Rather than taking place in a single location, the festival spreads across multiple venues throughout Brampton, each hosting its own cultural pavilion.

Visitors can travel between locations to discover music, dance, and art representing different countries and regions. From energetic cultural performances to traditional costumes and storytelling, each pavilion provides a glimpse into the customs and heritage of participating communities.

Food is also an essential part of the Carabram experience. Guests can sample authentic dishes and desserts prepared by community groups, offering a delicious way to explore global cuisine.

The lively performances and welcoming atmosphere make each pavilion feel like its own celebration while contributing to the larger festival spirit.

Your Passport to the Festival

To explore the pavilions, visitors will need a Carabram Passport, which serves as the official entry pass to the festival.

Passports are available for $12 and provide full access to all Carabram pavilions from July 10 – 12, 2026. The passport is required for entry at each pavilion, making it easy for festival-goers to travel from one cultural experience to another throughout the weekend.

Families will be pleased to know that children aged 12 and under receive free admission when accompanied by an adult passport holder, making the event accessible for visitors of all ages.

Passports will be available for in-person purchase beginning May 1, 2026, allowing attendees to plan ahead for a weekend filled with cultural discovery.

Music, Dance, and Cultural Experiences

Throughout the festival weekend, Carabram stages and pavilion spaces will be filled with performances celebrating global traditions. Visitors can watch dancers in colourful costumes, listen to live music from different cultures, and participate in interactive demonstrations that highlight cultural heritage.

Many pavilions also feature displays, workshops, and community presentations that offer deeper insights into traditions and customs.

These performances and activities create an atmosphere of cultural exchange, encouraging visitors to learn about and appreciate the many communities that contribute to Brampton’s identity.

Celebrating Diversity Together

For decades, Carabram has been one of Brampton’s most cherished community festivals. It offers a chance for residents to celebrate their heritage while sharing it with others in a welcoming environment.

As the festival returns July 10 – 12, 2026, visitors will once again have the opportunity to explore cultures from around the world, enjoy delicious food, and experience vibrant performances across the city.

With a single passport opening the doors to dozens of cultural experiences, Carabram continues to demonstrate that Brampton’s greatest strength is its diversity—and that celebrating it brings the whole community together.
