The Postmark Hotel, 180 Main Street South, Newmarket

On March 7, 2026, downtown Newmarket welcomes a winter experience designed to slow the pace and warm the senses. The Brew & Fondue Lodge, hosted at the elegant Postmark Hotel, transforms boutique hospitality into an alpine-inspired retreat where craft beer, comforting food, and relaxed atmosphere take centre stage. Curated by the team behind Community Craft Beer Fest, this one-night experience blends culinary indulgence with seasonal charm, offering guests a refined yet inviting way to embrace winter.

Alpine Inspiration, Thoughtfully Interpreted

Set within the historic Postmark Hotel, the Brew & Fondue Lodge draws inspiration from classic mountain lodges, where warmth, flavour, and conversation naturally come together. From the moment guests arrive, the setting encourages a shift away from the rush of everyday life. Soft lighting, rustic textures, and thoughtfully styled spaces create an ambience that feels both intimate and indulgent, striking a balance between cosy comfort and understated elegance.

Craft Beer Meets Comfort Cuisine

At the heart of the evening is the pairing of craft beer and fondue, a combination rooted in comfort and conviviality. Carefully selected brews showcase a range of styles, offering balance, depth, and seasonal character. Each pour is chosen to complement the richness of fondue, allowing flavours to unfold gradually and harmoniously. The tasting experience is approachable for casual drinkers while still engaging for those eager to explore nuanced profiles.

Fondue, long associated with shared tables and unhurried meals, shapes the rhythm of the evening. Served warm and meant to be enjoyed communally, it invites guests to linger, savour, and connect. This emphasis on togetherness reflects alpine traditions, reinforcing the idea that food and drink are best enjoyed slowly and in good company.

An Intimate, Reservation-Only Experience

Unlike large-scale festivals, the Brew & Fondue Lodge is intentionally reservation-only, ensuring a more personal and immersive experience. The limited format allows for attentive service, comfortable pacing, and space to truly appreciate both the venue and the offerings. Guests are encouraged to revisit favourites, explore new flavour combinations, and settle into the lodge-like atmosphere without feeling rushed.
