For more than 25 years, the Reelworld Film Festival+Summit has helped shape a more inclusive and representative Canadian screen industry. Returning to Toronto from October 20–26, 2026, the event brings together filmmakers, producers, writers, performers, broadcasters, and audiences to celebrate storytelling while creating opportunities for underrepresented voices across film, television, and digital media.

Founded to support Indigenous, Black, Asian, South Asian, and racialised creators, Reelworld has grown into one of Canada’s most influential screen industry events. Through film screenings, professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and industry discussions, the festival continues to foster connections and inspire the next generation of Canadian storytellers.
