Electrolit 5K Foam Fest Toronto Delivers Big Obstacles and Bigger Heart

Electrolit 5K Foam Fest Toronto Delivers Big Obstacles and Bigger Heart

August 29 – 30, 2026
Dagmar Ski Resort, 1220 Lake Ridge Rd, Uxbridge
In Support of Make-A-Wish®

The Electrolit 5K Foam Fest Toronto transforms a traditional fun run into a high-energy playground packed with laughter, mud and adrenaline. Designed for all fitness levels, the five-kilometre course invites participants to walk, jog or charge their way through a series of imaginative challenges — no stopwatches or pressure required.

At the heart of the experience are 25 of the most exciting obstacles in the world. From the moment runners burst through the Electrolit Foamy Start, they are met with a thrilling sequence that keeps the momentum going until the Electrolit Foamy Finish.

Epic Obstacles, Unmatched Foam

The course features an unforgettable lineup. Participants conquer Hurdles, charge through the Chamber of Foam and scale Walls (x2). There are Slip n Slide (x3) sections that send racers skimming across wet lanes, while the Spider Web Forest (x2) tests agility and coordination.

Depending on the venue, runners may crawl through the Mud Crawl or splash into the Mud Pit. Other crowd favourites include Turtle Hurdle, Log Roll, Splash N’ Dash, Hill Climb and Tire Hop. Balance and bravery are put to the test on Lily Pads, Cargo Climb and the twisting Corkscrew.

Those seeking heart-pounding fun will love Wipeout Wonderland and the towering DD Mega Slide — billed as the world’s largest inflatable waterslide. Participants also race through the Foam Zone, rinse off at the Body Washer and tackle the playful chaos of every splash, slip and scramble along the way.

What truly sets this event apart is the sheer scale of its signature element: 2.5 million cubic feet of foam pumped out at each event. The thick, frothy clouds create an atmosphere that feels more like a festival than a race. By the end of the course, most participants are drenched, muddy and grinning from ear to ear — proof that sometimes the messiest days are the most memorable.

Supporting Make-A-Wish Canada

Beyond the inflatable slides and mud pits, the Electrolit 5K Foam Fest carries a meaningful mission. The event proudly supports Make-A-Wish Canada, the national charity dedicated to granting life-changing wishes for children living with critical illnesses.

Participants are encouraged to fundraise, knowing their efforts contribute directly to fulfilling wishes that bring hope, strength and joy to families during difficult times. Funds raised through registrations and on-site initiatives help turn dreams into reality, whether that means travel adventures, special experiences or cherished family moments.
