Hyundai is putting electrified performance and adventurous design in the spotlight at the 2026 Canadian International AutoShow, with the Canadian debut of the IONIQ 6 N high-performance EV and the first public display of the CRATER Concept adventure vehicle. Both vehicles highlight Hyundai’s commitment to electrification, motorsport-inspired engineering, and versatile design.

Canadian Debut of the IONIQ 6 N

The IONIQ 6 N is Hyundai’s high-performance electric vehicle built under the N brand philosophy, which focuses on Corner Rascal handling, Racetrack Capability, and Everyday Sportscar usability. Drawing inspiration from motorsports, the IONIQ 6 N blends advanced EV engineering with a driver-focused experience.

Equipped with performance-oriented aerodynamics, optimized suspension geometry, and N-specific thermal management, the IONIQ 6 N is engineered for precision, stability at high speeds, and engaging driving dynamics. The EV’s powertrain ensures a responsive and immersive ride while demonstrating Hyundai’s commitment to high-performance electrification.

CRATER Concept: Rugged Adventure SUV

The CRATER Concept represents a bold expression of Hyundai’s adventurous design philosophy. This compact off-road SUV draws inspiration from extreme environments, emphasizing ruggedness, durability, and capability. Its striking proportions and purposeful stance showcase a vision of exploration-focused design while highlighting Hyundai’s versatility across vehicle segments.

Dynamic Hyundai Exhibit

The Hyundai exhibit is located in the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, featuring a broad selection of the brand’s current vehicles alongside these two standout models. Visitors can experience Hyundai’s “Driven by Choice” theme through hands-on activations that highlight the brand’s innovation, partnerships, and commitment to community impact.
