Valentine’s Day Romance at Palais Royale

The season begins on February 14, 2026, when The Palais Royale hosts its annual Valentine’s Day dinner and dance, featuring the Swing Shift “Little” Big Band. Set against the glamour of one of Toronto’s most iconic waterfront venues, the evening promises a romantic atmosphere filled with classic dance music.

Vocalists Dave Statham and Shannon Butcher lead the night with smooth vocals and timeless love songs, creating the perfect soundtrack for couples. Doors open at 6:00 pm, dinner is served at 7:00 pm, and the band takes the stage at 8:00 pm, allowing guests to ease into an evening designed for both dining and dancing.

Supporting Canadian Musicians in April

The season continues on April 13, 2026, when Swing Shift Big Band returns to the Old Mill Inn for the annual Jaymz Bee Caravan of Music. This large-scale fundraising event features 24 bands across 13 rooms, with proceeds supporting the Unison Fund, which assists Canadian musicians during times of crisis.
