March Break is the perfect time to slow down, reconnect with creativity, and experience culture in an inspiring setting—and March Break 2026 at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection delivers exactly that. Nestled within 100 acres of wooded landscape in Kleinburg, Ontario, the McMichael offers families, young artists, and adults a refreshing blend of art, nature, and hands-on learning. With thoughtfully designed camps for children and an intensive weekend workshop for adults, the McMichael transforms the March Break season into a celebration of imagination and artistic growth.

A Creative March Break for Young Art Explorers

At the heart of the McMichael’s March Break programming are the Artventure March Break Camps, designed to spark curiosity and confidence in young creators. These full-day camps invite children to step into the role of artist-explorer, drawing inspiration from the gallery’s renowned exhibitions and surrounding natural environment.

An Inspiring Weekend for Adult Artists

March Break at the McMichael also extends to adult learners with the McMichael Oil Painting Weekend with Judy Sherman, a programme designed for artists at all stages of their practice.
