A fantastic line-up of artists will perform on the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino, with Carly Pearce on April 22, and John Fogerty on June 30.
“We’ve seen incredible acts so far, and now Carly Pearce and John Fogerty are heading to the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino. The list of amazing acts is endless,” says Cathy Price, Vice President Marketing, Niagara Casinos.
For Carly Pearce, she is living her childhood dream and blowing doors wide open in country music. Pearce has earned platinum-certified albums and awards including ACM Single of the Year, CMT Artist of The Year, ACM/CMA Female Artist/Vocalist of The Year, and recently a Grammy award for Country Duo/Group Performance for the hit song Never Wanted To Be That Girl. She will continue to build momentum at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino.
“Pearce resonates with fans through her honest lyrics and powerful vocals”, says Price. Music critics and fans alike have praised Pearce as a committed songwriter. A similar statement can be made about John Fogerty, the founder of Credence Clearwater Revival, one of the greatest rock bands of all time. On June 30, he will bring his incredible storytelling and songwriting abilities to full view and sound to the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino.
“He’s a pioneer, a mentor, and a musical force who left his mark on rock n roll like very few others. You can hear his influence in songs from the 1960s right through to the music of today,” says Price. Fogerty wrote, sang, and produced many timeless songs with CCR such as the iconic classics Born on the Bayou, Proud Mary, and Bad Moon Rising, plus many more as a solo artist including Rockin’ All Over The World, The Old Man Down The Road, and Rock And Roll Girls.
“Fogerty is one of those artists whose music has a little something for everyone,” says Price.
Also coming the Avalon Theatre, the smash-hit show Menopause The Musical 2: Cruising Through ‘The Change’® heads to the Avalon Theatre on June 13-18. In this sequel, the plot fast-forwards five years to catch up with the same four characters for tales of their lives, loves, and losses as they set off on the high seas.
