Koerner Hall

Join Singing Out, Canada’s largest 2SLGBTQQIA+ choir, for Iconique — a spectacular Pride concert celebrating the voices and legacies of queer icons. Taking place Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Koerner Hall in the TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning, this moving event is part of Toronto Pride Month and is proudly supported by the My Piece of the City Grant.

Singing Out has been a cornerstone of Toronto’s queer community since 1992, providing a musical outlet that amplifies voices, fosters belonging, and promotes inclusion. For over three decades, the choir has brought people together through song, uniting members of the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community and allies in celebration and solidarity.

This year’s concert, Iconique, shines a spotlight on the influential queer artists and cultural changemakers who have inspired generations. With a dynamic mix of anthems and ballads performed by the full choir and accompanied by a live band under the direction of Beth Hanson, audiences can expect a night of powerful vocals, moving storytelling, and heartfelt tributes.

Artistic Director Jody Malone shares, “We’re honoured to perform at the iconic Koerner Hall. Iconique is not only a tribute to the queer artists who paved the way, but also a celebration of the vibrant, resilient community we’ve been proud to represent for over 30 years.”

From its humble beginnings and debut performance, Sex and Chocolate, in 1993, Singing Out has remained committed to being more than just a choir—it’s a chosen family, a beacon of hope, and a space where everyone is welcome to raise their voice.

This Pride Month, come experience a one-night-only concert that blends music, identity, and pride unforgettably. Whether you’re part of the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community or a supportive ally, Iconique invites you to witness a celebration of queer excellence in one of Toronto’s most beautiful venues.
