Port Colborne Community Concert Series 2026 Returns with Music, Food and Waterfront Fun

June 19 – September 11, 2026
H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park Bandshell, 160 Sugarloaf Street

Summer evenings along the waterfront will once again come alive with music as the 2026 Community Concert Series returns to H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park in Port Colborne. Presented by Asahi Kasei Battery Separator Canada, the popular series continues to be a highlight of the city’s summer events calendar, offering free outdoor entertainment in a scenic lakeside setting.

Residents and visitors alike can look forward to evenings filled with live music, community spirit and beautiful waterfront views. The concerts provide a welcoming atmosphere for families, friends and music lovers looking to enjoy warm summer nights by the lake.

Earlier Start Time Adds to the Experience

New for 2026, the concert series will begin at 6 p.m., giving attendees even more time to enjoy the festivities before the main performances begin. The earlier schedule encourages guests to arrive ahead of the concerts and spend the evening exploring the expanded activities and amenities available throughout the park.

2026 Community Concert Series lineup
The 2026 concert series features a dynamic lineup of crowd favourites and tribute performances:

  • June 19 – Simply Queen (Canada’s Premier Queen Tribute Band
  • July 3 – Fiddlestix (high-octane country and Celtic rock)
  • July 17 – Yacht Rock Show (smooth rock sounds from the ’70s and ’80s)
  • August 14 – Pop Hits Live (Tributes to Chappell Roan & Katy Perry)
  • August 28 – The Caverners (Canada’s Premier Beatles tribute show)
  • September 11 – Petty Nicks (a tribute to Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks)

A mini supper market will feature a range of local food vendors serving fresh and ready-to-eat meals, snacks and treats. Visitors can sample local flavours while relaxing near the waterfront before the music begins. Outdoor games and family-friendly activities will also be part of the enhanced experience, helping to create a lively and engaging environment for all ages.

The expanded programming reflects the city’s continued focus on creating inclusive community events that encourage residents and visitors to gather, connect and support local businesses.

New Bring Your Own Beverage Policy

Another major addition for the 2026 season is the introduction of a Bring Your Own Beverage policy during the concerts. Following recent provincial changes regarding alcohol consumption at designated public events, the City of Port Colborne updated its Municipal Alcohol Management Policy earlier this year.

As a result, all six concerts in the Community Concert Series have been approved as eligible designated events. Adults aged 19 and older may bring their own alcoholic beverages to enjoy responsibly within the designated concert area during event hours.

City officials have noted that alcohol consumption outside of designated concert times will not be permitted within the park. The updated policy is intended to provide a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere while continuing to prioritise public safety and responsible event management.
