March Break Camp @ Claremont is a nature-focused holiday programme designed to get children outside and exploring the winter landscape during their school break. Hosted by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority at the Claremont Nature Centre in Pickering, this camp runs from Monday, March 16 to Friday, March 20, 2026 and welcomes campers primarily between 5 and 12 years old.

Set on a scenic property with forest trails and natural features, the camp encourages youngsters to engage with the environment through hands-on activities and guided exploration. Whether it’s hiking through the woods, discovering animal tracks in the snow, or learning about the ecosystem of Duffins Creek, each day is packed with outdoor fun and educational opportunities that foster curiosity and confidence.

Campers enjoy a full day of activities from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a hot lunch included in every registration, making it easy for families to plan their March break week. For younger children aged 4 to 5, there is a special single-day “Lucky Leprechaun” camp on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, tailored to introduce them to the wonders of nature through games, crafts and play.

One of the exciting additions for 2026 is the optional overnight experience. Suitable for campers aged 8 to 12, this overnight take-part runs from Thursday, March 19 to Friday, March 20, 2026 and includes a night hike, campfire under the stars, a cozy dorm room stay, dinner on Thursday evening, and breakfast plus snacks on Friday morning. This option adds an unforgettable dimension to the camp by giving older children a chance to immerse themselves fully in nature and camp traditions

Registration is available for either a full week or specific days (especially for younger campers), and fees include lunch and the choice to add the overnight experience.
