Autumn Nights Glow at PumpkInferno, Upper Canada Village 2026

October 3 – 31, 2026
Upper Canada Village, 13740 County Road 2, Morrisburg

As the crisp autumn air settles over eastern Ontario, Upper Canada Village once again prepares to host one of the region’s most captivating seasonal attractions: PumpkInferno. Running on select evenings from October 3–31, 2026, the annual event transforms the historic village into a glowing wonderland filled with light, creativity, and autumn atmosphere.

A Spectacular Display of Pumpkin Art

Each year, thousands of visitors arrive to experience the breathtaking illuminated trail winding through the village grounds. Far beyond traditional jack-o’-lanterns, PumpkInferno features intricate displays created from moulds of real pumpkins, carefully carved and arranged into imaginative scenes and towering installations.

The glowing pathway showcases everything from whimsical creatures and cultural motifs to dramatic structures that light up the night sky. The artistry is constantly evolving, with new displays introduced each year alongside returning favourites, ensuring every visit feels fresh and unique.

While the walking experience typically takes about 40 minutes, many guests spend longer exploring the remarkable details and soaking in the magical atmosphere.

An Autumn Tradition for Everyone

One of the event’s standout features is its commitment to accessibility. Special Accessibility Nights on October 7, 14, and 21, 2026 allow guests with mobility challenges or sensory sensitivities to enjoy the experience from the comfort of their vehicles, helping make the event welcoming and inclusive for all visitors.

Beyond the illuminated displays, guests can enhance their evening with additional experiences. A pre-event meal at the Harvest Barn offers hearty autumn-inspired dining, while families can add miniature train rides for children. Couples and groups often enjoy simply wandering the lantern-lit pathways while taking in the cool October evening air.

Planning Ahead

Tickets for PumpkInferno are available exclusively online and frequently sell out in advance, especially on weekends. Free parking is included with admission, and the event operates rain or shine, so warm clothing and comfortable footwear are strongly recommended.

Blending creativity, seasonal charm, and community spirit, PumpkInferno continues to be one of Ontario’s most memorable autumn experiences. Whether visiting for the first time or returning as part of an annual tradition, guests can expect an enchanting evening filled with glowing displays and unforgettable fall scenery.
