ROM, Toronto

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) in Toronto offers an exciting escape for children during the school break with its March Break Camp 2026, running from March 16 to 20, 2026. Designed for children aged 5 to 14, this camp combines learning, creativity, and adventure, giving participants a unique opportunity to explore one of Canada’s premier museums in a fun, interactive setting.

Hands-On Learning in Every Session

At ROM’s March Break Camp, young explorers engage with a wide range of activities inspired by the museum’s world-class collections. Campers can investigate natural history exhibits, explore ancient civilisations, and take part in artistic projects. Each day blends structured learning with hands-on experiments, encouraging curiosity, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. Experienced instructors guide children through these activities, ensuring each camper gains confidence and enjoyment from the experience.

The camp operates weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with early drop-off from 8:10 a.m. and optional extended care for families requiring additional flexibility. Days typically include interactive sessions, gallery exploration, and practical projects in ROM’s learning studios.

Tailored Programmes for Every Interest

March Break Camp also offers themed streams to cater to different interests and age groups. Previous programmes have included art-inspired projects, creative storytelling, science experiments, and even tabletop gaming adventures. These themes allow campers to dive deeper into their favourite subjects, making the experience highly personalised and engaging.
