The internationally celebrated Yiddish revival of Fiddler on the Roof arrives in Canada for the first time at Toronto’s historic Elgin Theatre from May 25 to June 7, 2026. Presented with English subtitles and produced by the Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company, this acclaimed production is directed by Tony and Academy Award winner Joel Grey. Performed entirely in Yiddish, the language of Sholem Aleichem’s original stories, it offers a deeply authentic and moving interpretation of the beloved musical classic.

Canada’s Crystal Pite partners once again with The National Ballet of Canada for the North American premiere of Flight Pattern, an urgent and emotional piece that shares the programme with Serge Lifar’s classical gem Suite en Blanc.
A reimagined Pinocchio returns to The National Ballet of Canada! Will Tuckett’s theatrical production brings a fresh perspective to the classic tale, whimsical stage design and a twist of Canadiana, with vibrant music by Paul Englishby.
One of Canada’s most exciting dancemakers, Jera Wolfe presents his first mainstage work for The National Ballet of Canada alongside Helen Pickett’s Emma Bovary, which returns with new material after the world premiere in 2023.
Featuring original music by Max Richter, Wayne McGregor’s MADDADDAM returns to Toronto after a sensational 2022 premiere, with breathtaking visuals and sublime choreography inspired by Margaret Atwood’s novel trilogy, Oryx and Crake, The Year of the Flood and MaddAddam.
Step into the wild with Jungle Book, an original live adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s classic stories, at Mississauga’s Living Arts Centre on February 16, 2026. Featuring stunning video, shadow-play, and original music, this family-friendly show explores Mowgli’s adventures with wolves, tigers, and elephants, while reflecting on our connection to the animal kingdom. Created by Craig Francis and Rick Miller, this is not Disney’s Jungle Book. Free drop-in creative activities for children will also be available.

Frozen in Time invites families to a magical afternoon with two beloved princesses, filled with enchanting storytelling and sing-along performances of favourite songs. Designed for children of all ages, this heart-warming show is perfect for enjoying together as a family. Guests are encouraged to dress up as their favourite prince, princess, character, or even villain to add to the fun. A limited VIP experience offers premium seating and a special meet-and-greet with photo opportunities.
Using humour and simplicity, actors and puppets retell Hansel and Gretel, inspired by the original Brothers Grimm tale. This imaginative adaptation centres on a brother and sister who face adversity together and emerge stronger. A lively forest set, original music, and inventive lighting spark fear and delight. Runtime: 45 minutes plus a 15-minute post-show Q&A, with audience interaction throughout performance.

Escaping the clutches of the cruel Miss Hannigan, Annie embarks on a joyful adventure through NYC, even befriending President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Along the way, she finds a new family with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, Grace Farrell, and Sandy, making Annie the perfect family-friendly musical.
