Big Music Fest is thrilled to announce the finalists for the 2015 Breaking Bands competition.
Twenty talented bands from Ontario are on their way to performing in front of thousands of music fans who will gather on Friday, July 10th at McLennan Park in Kitchener to watch the bands compete for the top spot.
The 2015 Breaking Bands finalists include:

A panel of industry experts will judge finalists live at McLennan Park while viewers at home can take in the action via live stream on Orchard TV. The 2015 Breaking Bands winner will be announced that evening and will walk away with a grand prize package that includes: studio time at Metalworks Studios; consultation from top industry executives including Mireu Entertainment & Music Business Consulting Group and Paul Sanderson, Entertainment Lawyer; a professional music video; AVID ProTools Certificate Course from Metalworks; 50 printed T-shirts as well as printing services by Civilian Printing Co.; a performance spot at KOI Music Festival in Kitchener; $2000 in cash; plus the opportunity to perform on the main stage at Big Music Fest 2016. As part of the grand prize, the winning band will also be filmed for a year leading up to their performance at Big Music Fest 2016. The finished documentary will be used as a promotional tool for the band to shop to industry professionals.
Admission to the finals is free and includes a free concert by platinum recording roots-rock-reggae sensation Big Sugar to close out the night.
