July 10, McLennan Park in Kitchener
It’s BIG and it’s FREE. Iconic Canadian rockers Big Sugar will perform live in concert on Friday, July 10 at McLennan Park in Kitchener as part of Big Music Fest 2015. The concert is free to the public and will close the festival’s Breaking Bands event – an Ontario-wide band search where acts compete for a chance to perform on the main stage at Big Music Fest 2016 as well as thousands in prizes and gear.
Big Sugar are well known for their thundering live performances spiced with epic dub excursions that keep crowds grooving. Their unique blend of roots-rock-reggae, soul and dub has even inspired the likes of The Black Crowes and Gov’t Mule. A platinum recording career that spans over 20 years includes their latest releases Yardstyle and the concert DVD Eliminate Ya! Live. Following European tours and a sold out national acoustic tour of Canada, Big Music Fest 2015 brings Big Sugar to you plugged in and ready to rock your summer.
Tickets for the Friday performance are free.
